In 1960, Dan continued his radio work (and number one ratings), and returned to WKY-TV to play character parts on the "Foreman Scotty Show", the most notable being " Xavier T. Willard".In 1967, Danny started a successful seventeen year run on a daytime talk/variety program called "Dannysday". Danny produced and hosted the show, interviewed major motion picture and television stars, and introduced local and national talent. Danny interviewed everyone who was anyone from President Lyndon Johnson to Shirley MacLaine. At NBC film festivals, Danny was considered the best interviewer in attendance. His manner was spontaneous and friendly. |
